Welcome!
This year we are starting to return to normal middle school electives as well as our regular district approved PE curriculum. All classes will follow district and county health expectations. We will adjust our activities to be as active and focused on curriculum as possible while meeting the current health protocols.
5th Grade will have PE all year long, Middle School Electives are one trimester long.
5th grade PE. - Week long specials classes. Will rotate with Art, Music, and STEM. Dress appropriately for physical activity on PE weeks. We will be outside as much as possible.
6th Grade PE- This is our introduction to the Sport Ed model and Middle School. Combinations of Healthy Living, Team Sports, Personal Fitness and Team building will be covered during this class.
Team Sports- Offered to 7th and 8th Grade students. We use the Sport Ed model to conduct units as sports including practices, scrimmages, games and tournaments. Individual Sports are selected by the class at the beginning of the trimester.
Health and Wellness- Offered to 7th and 8th Grade students. This class focuses on the individual student and their fitness needs while introducing a variety of workout and activities that can meet those needs.
Adventure PE- This class is the calling card of the PE Program at Bradford. It is held dui=ring the last period of the day and is off property 4 days per week. We use this time to explore ways students can be active in the community and better themselves as an athlete and member of society. This class is open to 7th and 8th grade students. This class has an additional fee.
