OUR HISTORY

The Golden High School Mountain Bike Team was started in 2010 by GHS Science Teacher Scott Burcar, with eight student athletes. In 2019 we had over 100 riders comprised of all abilities and finished 4th in the 2019 Colorado State Championship! There was no race season in 2020. In 2021 Golden just missed the 3rd place by a few points. In 2022 the team was cheered on by school mascot Demon Dan and won 2nd place in the Division 1 Colorado State Championship! Plus Golden won the All-Star Team for Division 1!
