TRADING WATERING DURING VACATIONS
We encourage gardeners to trade watering during vacations. We don't have a formal process for this, but it seems like people have always been willing to find people willing to trade days with each other. If you need coverage for a vacation, you are welcome to put up a note in the shed (or sheds) with your contact information asking for help with watering. And of course you can also ask other gardeners in person when you see them at the garden or at work days (the next work day is this coming Tuesday, June 25).
TRACKING YOUR WORK HOURS
Starting this Friday morning, you can find a few new binders in the East shed-- one for Gardening Resources, one for Garden Member Information (which includes Work Hour Tracking Sheets). Please be sure to track all of the hours you contribute to the good of the whole garden on the work hour tracking sheets. As a reminder, all gardeners are required to contribute a minimum of 15 hours over the growing season to the shared areas of the garden. (A few gardeners were short some hours last year so those hours are added on to your required hours for this summer-- we emailed everyone who was short hours in the fall with the number of hours that would need to be added onto this summer-- we'll send another reminder after this email to individuals who have extra hours to complete this summer).
