Learn to recognize and evaluate the personal characteristics essential to professional success
Seek challenges beyond the workplace and the academic setting in preparation for future success
Make lifelong relationships and build a professional network
Experience activities with “like-minded” peers & professionals
Students applying for this program will need to:
Provide their own transportation for the internship
Commit to 8 weeks in the summer of 2024 (June 3 - July 28)
Complete 100-hours (unpaid) with an Industry Partner
Be able to attend one in-person orientation on either May 7th or May 14th
As we prepare for the 2024-2025 school year, the district will be making a shift in our internship program offered to juniors and seniors as part of the High School Reimagined initiative. We have recognized the widespread desire for students to participate in internships across Jeffco, and our current limited programming needs to be increased.
Therefore, we are transitioning from the current Executive Internship program only available at Warren Tech to a broader, more expansive internship program set to launch next school year. The goal is to provide students with even more incredible opportunities preparing them for life after high school and building on current internships offered across our schools. More information will be coming soon.
As part of the transition to the new internship program, the current Executive Internship program will be maintained through this summer so as not to impact this opportunity for next year’s seniors. Incoming 12th-grade students who meet the EHSI eligibility requirements, including a 3.5+ GPA can find more information on the Application Process Page.
