Conflict Mediation

Conflicts are a natural part of every student’s life.  Conflicts that are most common in the school environment are around friendship issues. Mediation is a conflict resolution process that provides students with the opportunity to talk about their problems safely, while also getting the help they need to solve their problems in productive, meaningful ways. Conflict mediators use Restorative Practices to facilitate this process by listening, asking questions, and helping students find ways to restore the harm and create win-win solutions.
