"Connection"
Measurement: 8X11
Media: Graphite and Micron
" Connection", is a drawing using graphite and Micron pens. My goal with the piece was to create a complex composition that was interesting to look at. The buildings are inspired by architecture from San Francisco. I chose to use Hydrangea's because they symbolize heart felt emotions. The scene is held in a rib cage, and I see the ribcage as a sanction or a house for emotions.
"Cross Contour Cinnamon Rolls"
Measurement: 11X11
Media: Micron, Watercolor, Acrylic
This piece was more out of comfort one. It was fun to experiment though, and I enjoyed, being able to use paint in the piece.
"Tranquil Practice"
Measurement: 5X7
Media: Colored Pencils
This piece was a practice for my larger chalk pastel image. While doing this, i wanted to experiment a lot with color and make the bison look majestic, since I view them this way. Doing this helped me determine the direction I was heading towards for the final piece.
" Tranquil"
Measurement: 16x20
Media: Chalk Pastel
"Tranquil", was a big experiment for me. This was the first time I used chalk pastels since 5th Grade. I enjoyed using looser media and getting to experiment with stacking and color.
