What is Speech and Language Therapy? Speech and language therapy in the educational setting addresses concerns with articulation, understanding language, following classroom directions, comprehending and understanding inferences of both oral and written language, effectively expressing themselves to others using age/grade-level vocabulary, grammar, and being able to ask and answer a variety of questions. Speech and language therapy aims to help each child become a successful learner and communicator.

If you have concerns about your child's speech and language skills please talk to your child's teacher and they will relay your concerns.
