Admission to an NEHS Chapter is by invitation only. If you've received an invitation to join BCHS Literati, please follow the directions below to apply.
Step One: NEHS Guardian Information Letter/Form
After reviewing the information in this letter with your parents or guardians, please have them sign the form and return it to Ms. Fjetland (W207), Mr. Karpovage (N222), or Ms. Becker (N217).
Step Two: NEHS Application Form
Complete this Digital Application by Thurs. September 7th. Answers should be specific and thoughtful; likewise, they ought to showcase your command of the English language. Be sure to proofread your answers carefully before submitting. You will need to include an original writing sample in the application. Membership will be announced by the end of the month.
Step Three: NEHS Induction Fee Agreement Form
The cost for NEHS Membership is $20 per academic year. Please complete the form by Thurs. September 7th to indicate your situation/needs concerning the NEHS induction fee.
*Note: if you are on Free & Reduced Lunch, your induction fee will be waived.
