AWest Gold Crown Volleyball Program

What is Gold Crown Volleyball?

Gold Crown Volleyball is a competitive girls’ volleyball league for players entering 6th, 7th or 8th grade (5th graders are welcome to “play up” on the 6th grade team). Teams are sponsored by high schools and are meant to be a mentoring program for girls wanting to play volleyball in high school. Gold Crown volleyball exposes players to middle school players from other area schools.

Tryouts:

In the Arvada West High School main gym on August 30th, September 1st & September 8th @ 6:15 - 7:45pm

Practices:

1-2 practices weekly on Mon, Wed or Fri in the Arvada West High School main gym, Monday & Wednesday time is 6:15-7:45pm and Fridays 4:30-5:30pm. Please check the Gold Crown Calendar below for schedule and/or follow the calendar to see changes and adjustments.

Program Information:

Open to 5th - 8th grade girls (5th graders will play up)
Total fee for the season = $235 (includes jersey, gym time, games, tournament fees)
- AWest Gold Crown League fee = $75 (due Sept 8)
- Gold Crown Fee Paid at registration to the Gold Crown Foundation = $160 (due Sept 10)
Double header games played on either Saturdays or Sundays at the Gold Crown Field House ( 150 S. Harlan St. Lakewood, CO 80226 )
- 12 match guarantee, 10 regular season matches / 2 postseason matches
  - Regular Season: September 25 - October 24, 2021
  - Championship Tournament: October 29 - 31, 2021
