About Ms. McKenna

Ms. McKenna

 I am excited to be one of our fifth-grade teachers who have the privilege of spending time with and watching our 5th grade students grow and learn this year! I have a B.A. in Liberal Arts with an Elementary Licensure from Colorado Christian University and a Masters in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education from Regis University and have been teaching for 12 years. 

I am a Colorado native and love, love, LOVE spending time in the Colorado mountains! Camping, hiking, skiing, running, photography, traveling, and eating LOTS of Chik-fil-a are among my favorite things to do on the weekend, as well as spending time with all my wonderful friends and family. I'm looking forward to learning and growing alongside each and every student as we laugh, explore, and adventure into a year of hard work, curiosity, and lots of fun!
