Hello families! My name is Lucy Hamilton, and I’m so excited to be teaching 5th grade this year at Foothills! Fifth grade is such a special year full of growth, independence, and big learning moments and I can’t wait to dive into all of it with your amazing kids.

I’m originally from Ohio, but I’ve lived in Colorado long enough to consider myself almost a native! I went to college in Chicago but moved back home to Colorado this summer! When I’m not teaching, I love being outdoors - hiking, camping, playing, and spending time with my family. 

This year, our class will focus on curiosity, optimism, teamwork, and developing a strong community. I’m a big believer in helping each student discover their strengths and feel confident in taking on new challenges.
