Revert to Legacy Outlook

As of Microsoft Outlook version 16.58, Microsoft is rolling out an updated version of Outlook with a different look and new features. However, as of right now, it is not compatible with how our district email accounts are set up, meaning that if your Outlook automatically switches to the new version after updating, you'll have to revert it back to Legacy Outlook. Luckily, this is straightforward to do.

Here is what the new version of Outlook looks like as of March 9, 2022. Since the new version does not sync with Johnston email accounts, everything is blank:

If your Outlook looks like this when you open it, first click on the Help menu in the top bar of your screen, then select Revert to Legacy Outlook.

A window might appear asking if you are sure you want to use the legacy version of Outlook. Click Revert to continue.

Your Outlook will be restored to normal.
