My final project is a culmination of a year's work of progress, with drafting, coordinating, and creating the New York Redistricting Campaign. I was always certain that I wanted to do a project concerning gerrymandering, but I did not know how to direct my interest in it into community action.  

My website represented the majority of the progress that was made, in particular I focused deeply on what redistricting is and tried to explain to people what it means. (And differentiating with redlining). I also added graphics about the local maps at the state senate and assembly level, along with links to government websites about elections and official datasets.  

While originally I wanted to create a mini documentary on the New York Redistricting status, I never got to it. Instead I gave presentations to two government classes about redistricting
