Q1 Roundtable
Quarter One Roundtable: Although I wasn't in school for the quarter one roundtable, I learned a lot from my process of preparing for the roundtable. In order to prepare, I had to really focus on what I wanted to narrow down my topic to and what I wanted to spend my time researching.
Q2 Roundtable
Quarter Two Roundtable: the quarter two roundtable was when I got the most feedback about what my project should be. The other capstone members in my group were John and Isaiah, and then the people we were presenting to were Ms. Gallivan, Mr. Stroh, Nora, and Sadie. They gave me advice on how to narrow down my research and project idea, and gave me great ideas on how to execute my project. Mr. Stroh also gave me State Senator Mannion's contact info, which was instrumental in my project.
April Status Update
April Status Updates: in my opinion, the April status updates were the most helpful presentation of the year. I think that they provide a wider range of feedback and give more opportunities for discussion. Preparing for the presentation was actually a really good way for me to organize my thoughts and my ideas, forcing me to get all of my thoughts together and figure out how I would blend them cohesively.
