Group: Mr. Keenan, Mr. Hartley, and two underclassmen
Reflection: The Q1 roundtable was the first time I introduced my topic to people outside of the Senior Capstone course. At that time, I hadn't found my research question, but I did know I wanted my project to be about storytelling through dance. Through the Q1 roundtable, I gained a lot more confidence in pursuing my topic thanks to the encouragement of my group members.
Group: Mr. Keenan, Mr. Hartley, Stephanie Lynne, and Morgan Moracco
Reflection: The Q2 roundtable didn't really offer me more information that would be useful to my project, but it did once again offer support and encouragement. The group members were invested in what I was talking about which helped reassure me that my project is worth completing and will also be of interest to others.
Group: The Senior Capstone course class, Mr. Clinton, Ms. Moore
Reflection: When I presented to the capstone class my mid-april status update, we had just come back from spring break- the spring break I spent over 40 hours editing my documentary and spent 6 hours both rehearsing and filming dance footage. At this presentation I was able to show the class a trailer for the documentary I put together, as well as some photos from the documentary. I got lots of positive responses from everyone in the class, and on the feedback forms everyone filled out I received lots of interest and excitement from everyone wanting to see the full documentary. This was probably my favorite (and best) presentation experience I had all year.
