What is JCYC?

JCYC Educational Talent Search (JCYC ETS) is a federal

TRIO program that has been funded by the U.S.

Department of Education since 1979. The mission of JCYC

is to identify, select and assist low-income youth who have

the potential to be the first generation of their family to

graduate from high school and enroll in a four-year college

or university.

In 2006, the U.S. Department of Education awarded JCYC

ETS another Talent Search grant to serve 500 youth in Daly

City and the surrounding San Mateo County area
