Junior Leadership Jackson is a great opportunity for JRS. and SRS. looking to grow their leadership skills while engaging and impacting the local community of Jackson County. Students can self-nominate or be recommended by a staff member. Applications close on September 11th. Students must complete an interview as part of the selection process. The U. S. service academies seek to educate and train cadets for service as career officers in the U.S. military. Admission to any of the five service academies is highly selective. Seniors that are interested in attending one of the US Service Academies must first obtain a congressional nomination. Learn about the process here. Nomination applications are due October 9th.
