In this classroom we also have access to Google Classroom, which works seamlessly with your student's county-given school email address. Google classroom is a different type of Online Learning Management System, allowing assignments to be given to students remotely and allows them to work on class anytime, anywhere.
Google Classroom has an iOS and Android App. To use it successfully you must also download: Google Drive App (use your school email), Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Google Docs.
The PDF to the right is a very basic quick guide to Google Classroom. Don't know how to turn something in? Want to know how to use Drive? Check here for all your tech needs! Still lost? EMAIL YOUR TEACHER!
It does not matter if we're using Google Classroom or Canvas, because another technology tool we will use in class is EdPuzzle, and it works with both systems.
It is browser based, so no software needs to be downloaded. Teachers can also track, monitor, and grade student progress through their educational portal. EDpuzzle is ideal for project based learning (PBL) as well as flipping a classroom. Also, it allows educators to create videos for guided learning and allows them to assess students by adding questions.
