Information on applying to Governor's school

Attention high achieving sophomore and junior students! The 2021 Tennessee Governor’s School applications have been posted on the TN Department of Education website at https://www.tn.gov/education/instruction/tdoe-governors-schools.html (Links to an external site.).

Please note that all completed Governor’s school applications are due to your counselor by November 13^th (TN Gov School of Arts) or December 4^th (all other Gov schools). This gives counselors time to get your application turned in to the Governor's school by the December 1^st or January 15^th deadlines.

Each student needs to print off the appropriate application from the Governor’s school website listed above. Then be sure to complete the appropriate portions of the application and meet with your counselor immediately so that we can go over the application process with you!!

Reminder!! You must have the completed application turned in to your counselor by the appropriate deadline! This includes the teacher recommendation letters that are required.
