What is a career assessment?

A career assessment is a way to learn about careers that may fit you based on a number of concepts like skills, values, or personality. Assessments ask you some questions about yourself then compare that with other people in different career fields to give you an idea or what type of career you would enjoy! Here at Science Hill we use the Major Clarity Assessment.

How do I use Major Clarity?

To take the assessment online follow these steps:

• Click here to get to the Major Clarity Website
• Input your Major Clarity username: (StudentNumber)@jcschools.majorclarity.com
• Input your password: ( First 4 of last name)+(Student Number) *all lowercase, hyphens and apostrophes are included
• Click sign in
• You may change the password if you wish later by going to "edit my profile".

What Now?

Congratulations! You have now finished the assessment and now have some ideas about a possible careers. If you would like to learn more about those careers you can use the following links to see information like: education needed, salary, etc.
