I graduated from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Music degree in voice performance, and from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Master of Music in voice performance and pedagogy. I completed my licensure to teach general/vocal music in grades K-12 through Milligan College and have completed my post-graduate education through Union College in Barbourville, KY. I taught applied voice at Virginia Intermont College and have served as adjunct music professor at Northeast State Community College. I love singing and acting (my husband and I started our own theatre company), playing piano, reading, knitting, cooking, and traveling. I live with my husband, Chris, our two daughters, Molly and Leah, and our pups named Peanut and Graham.
