History
The JCI Wisconsin Statesman Award Program was established in 1981 and so far over 970 Wisconsin Jaycees have been recognized as Statesman recipients. This prestigious award was implemented to recognize the outstanding JCI member on a local or state level who might not otherwise be recognized. It is considered the highest honor that can be bestowed on an individual member of JCI Wisconsin and is not given out indiscriminately. All applications are screened by JCI Wisconsin.
Application and Criteria
Besides displaying a record of dedication, outstanding service and involvement, a JCI Wisconsin Statesman must be a member in good standing for at least two years and served at least one full year as an elected local or state officer or program manager. Also, the applicant must have served as a chairman of a major local project and/or worked on at least five major projects. If you feel you have one or more individuals in your chapter that are deserving of this honor, please take time and fill out and submit this application.
