Fabian Weirich

About Mr. Weirich

Alumni from Johnson City ISD Mr. Weirich was a member of the Blinn Buccaneer Marching Band at Blinn College in Brenham, TX. Later he  transferred to Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX where he graduated in 2021. While at Tarleton he was a member of the marching band, pep bands, jazz band, jazz combo, symphonic band, and trumpet ensemble. Mr. Weirich was trumpet section leader for the Sound and the Fury marching band in 2016 and 2017. He also played in several jazz combos and musicals throughout his time at Tarleton State University.

  His first year teaching he was the Assistant Band Director at Schulenburg ISD where he took the symphonic band to contest and received superior ratings which that band hasn't received since the pandemic. Most recently he was the Assistant Director of Bands at Mount Vernon ISD where the marching band competed at area, his varsity middle school band received superior ratings in sight-reading, and the Indoor percussion received championship medals for NTCA Percussion Scholastic Concert AA 2024 season.

Mr. Weirich is currently a member of ATSSB and TMEA as well as a member of the International Trumpet Guild (ITG).
