On this page you will see information on various band events as well as some resources for our BB and MS students. For more information about specific events, contact Mrs. Hoffman or Mr. Weirich.

Don't forget to join our LBJ Beginning Band (5th grade) and MS Band LBJ (6-7th grade) Remind groups to get the most up to date information about rehearsals, performances, etc. Parents and students are welcome to join. To join your group, text the your class's code below to 81010 and follow the prompts.

Oct. 31st- Home Varsity Football game: Band Night/Parent Night! (the Beginning band and MS band will do a short performance at halftime!)

Dec. 6- MS Region Auditions (Only for students interested in grade 6-8= talk with Hoffman) at Burnet MS

Football Games

Varsity Football Games- Below is a list of all the Home Varsity Football Games. Our band boosters run the concession stand for all Varsity Home Games, and this is the band booster club's biggest avenue of income for the band for the year. If you are interested and available to help, please see the link at the bottom of this page.

Oct. 17- Home Game vs Holland

Oct. 31- Home Game vs Mason: Band Night/Parent Night!

MS/JV HOME Football Games- the band doesn’t perform at them, but the band boosters need student/parent volunteers to help with concessions. This is our biggest avenue of income for the band, so if you are available to help reach out to band directors or booster officers. Dates are listed below:

MS Region Audition Dates

Here is some updated info on region band auditions. These were the dates given to us at our ATSSB Region meeting, and we will update on deadlines as we get updates from ATSSB and UIL. Auditioning for Region Band is an individual contest where students learn a few songs and scales and play them for a panel of judges. Then from those auditions, a group of students are selected to be a part of the "Region Band" where they will all meet at a later date to practice and perform with a guest conductor. If any student is interested in this process, please contact Mrs. Hoffman or Mr. Weirich.
