Scholarship, Leadership, Character and Service are the four pillars of the National Honor Society
Induction into the National Honor Society of L. B. J. High School represents the highest honor and trust that can be bestowed upon a student during his or her sophomore, junior, or senior years. The National Honor Society recognizes students for outstanding scholarship, leadership, service and character. National Honor Society membership indicates a student has attained and continues to demonstrate and promote all of these qualities, including striving to improve conditions in his or her school and community.Â
Students who meet the following minimum requirements will be invited to apply to become a member of the LBJ High School Chapter of the National Honor Society:
Student must have been enrolled at LBJ High School for a minimum of 1 full semester.
Student must be enrolled as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior.
Student must have earned a minimum of a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) on a weighted scale.
