RECITAL PERFORMANCE INFO
All classes work towards one performance in our annual dance recital.
The recital is held the weekend after Memorial Day –
this year our Newfane Production is:
SATURDAY May 31.
Students must attend only one show.
Please note: This date and location is subject to change pending auditorium availability, state and federal mandates and our current health climate.
On Thursday of that week (May 29), students will be assigned a dress rehearsal time and will need to arrive at the recital location at their allotted time dressed and ready to run their dances on the big stage!
Our Recital Fee is $55.00 for the first dancer,
and $45.00 for each additional dancer in the household.
This includes dress rehearsal fee, prop and set fee, a recital tee-shirt, on-site security, and a digital recording of our recital performance for each family in the form of a downloadable video! (DVD's can still be created upon request for an additional fee.)
THURSDAY MAY 29:

Newfane Showcase
At JCDA we understand that while you appreciate the dance community you are a part of, your superstar is YOUR CHILD!
For this reason we give students additional free performance opportunities in our shows. Any dancer in the school-aged classes and up and up can participate with their fathers/father figures in the Dad’s Dance! (Please note, we welcome all father figures. We definitely understand that sometimes, this means Mommies too!)
We also have a special mom’s dance for all of our mommies to show where our kids got those great moves!
Follow the newsletters for updated info regarding these three numbers. Our rehearsals usually occur in The spring, so be on the look out starting in March and April and pencil us in!
The recital performance will require the purchase of a costume, tights and jewelry. (See more about costumes under the “Dance Costumes” section below)

Remember to add about 1-2 inches per measurement, depending on when your child has their yearly growth spurt to ensure costumes are ordered in the correct size for them at their May/June performance!
