RE: Japan Commerce Association 31st Tennis & Potluck Event
Dear JCAW Members:
We are pleased to announce the 30th Annual Tennis and Pickleball Party hosted by the Japan Commerce Association, which will be held as follows.
Date: Saturday, May 16, 2026, 7:00 PM -10:00 PM
Place: YMCA Arlington Tennis & Pickleball Center
3400 North 13th Street, Arlington, VA 22201 (703-522-1700)
Kindly head to the lounge area by 6:45 PM after completing registration. The event will commence at 7:00 PM, followed by a group photo immediately after the opening remarks.
Admission Fees per person:
14 years old and older
JCAW member: $16.00 (Includes $1.00 Transaction Fee)
Non-member: $32.00 (Includes $2.00 Fee)
The JCAW member rate applies only to individuals who 1) are listed in the Member Directory
under either a corporate or individual membership, and 2) have paid this year's membership fee.
Please note that family members of registered individuals are considered non-members.
13 years old and younger- Players aged 13 and under are warmly welcome to join, with lessons available too!
$1.00 (No Admission, $1.00 Registration Fee only)
*NOTE
- Fees are only for those who will play tennis. If you are only joining the Potluck there is no Fee—Potluck is FREE. However, you are asked to bring a dish if you are participating in the Potluck. Homemade food is fully welcome!
Eligibility Requirements:
Submission of 2 WAIVER Forms as below is required to participate in tennis.
“同意書／Letter of Consent (Waiver Form)”-Please bring it with signature.
Online Waiver Form required by the Tennis facility (YMCA Arlington)- To be announced.

Note: The event is limited to 75 participants.
If you’re only joining the potluck (not playing tennis), you don’t need to register online. Just let JCAW Contact (below) know you’ll be attending.
Game Styles:
Tennis: Please provide your rating in terms of the NTRP Rating or other similar classification (beginner, intermediated, advanced, etc.) in the registration form. We will randomly assign double teams based on your provided rating.
Pickleball: To be determined based on the number of participants.
Lessons: We welcome beginners, including those who have never played tennis or just started. Tennis lessons will be offered for anyone interested, including young children. Please let us know if you’d like to join a lesson.

Additional Notes:
Potluck Party: We will have a potluck party. Bringing a dish to share is required to participate.
Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited.
Please avoid bringing raw foods.
All minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult.
If you plan to play tennis, please wear comfortable exercise clothes and non-marking sole shoes, which are required.
Tennis balls and a limited number of drinks will be provided.
<Important notes for Doubles players>
- Please let us know at the time of registration if you plan to arrive late or plan to leave early. We will try to accommodate your request and reflect it on your schedule of play.
