Art SUPPLIES
We will give you what you need!
You may bring your own art supplies or sketchbook to class at anytime to work with, however you are responsible for keeping up with them,
INTERACTIVE NOTEBOOK / Sketchbook
I will provide a sketchbook for this class. This Sketchbook will be a manual/textbook for my class. All important notes, activities, sketches, diagrams, etc. will be kept and organized in this sketchbook. It is also an opportunity to teach students how to organize their work. Weekly Drawing Prompt grades will come from this book!
HOMEWORK
Homework will be very rare. Typically students will have homework if they need to complete an assignment or project, due to absences otherwise, students will be given plenty of time in class to complete their work. Students can avoid homework by working steadily and efficiently in class. Reminds and information concerning ART will be sent out in Talking points and in Google Classroom.
CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS
When working at school in my classroom, I expect students to follow all rules and regulations outlined in the JMS Student Handbook and to be mindful of the following:
1. Have pride in yourself, your work, and your school. This means take care of our art supplies and contain art to the appropriate locations, not tables, walls, or stools.
2. Be kind and compassionate to others.
3. Arrive to class on time.
4. Complete and submit all assignments on and with full dedication of EFFORT!
5. Listen and positively participate in class.
6.Keep your PHONE placed away unless you have permission from me to use this device for art purposes.
