MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES
BLUE BONNET TRAILS MENTAL HEALTH: We provide services for adults with serious mental illness; to children and adolescents with serious mental illness or emotional disorders, autism or pervasive developmental disorders; to persons with developmental disabilities; to infants and toddlers with developmental delays; and to adults and children with family health care needs. FIND A THERAPIST: This resource from Psychology Today provides a directory of therapists to choose from based on locality.
IMPACT SERVICES: Our school-based services bring high quality mental health care into the schools to improve access to care for vulnerable students and their families. By being in the school, mental health care is provided during the school day, limiting time away from school for appointments and increasing access to students who may not have insurance or the ability to find a therapist locally. STARRY COUNSELING SERVICES: STARRY nurtures children, strengthens families, and restores hope by providing supportive services through trauma-informed counseling, family support, fatherhood programs, and family preservation services at various locations in central Texas. NEW! WARMLINES: A warmline is a phone number you call to have a conversation with someone who can provide support during hard times. Whether you’re in crisis or just need someone to talk to, a warmline can help. Warmlines are staffed by trained peers who have been through their own mental health struggles and know what it’s like to need help. Warmlines are free and confidential. They’re different from crisis lines or hotlines like the National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, which are more focused on keeping you safe in the moment and getting you connected to crisis resources as quickly as possible. WILCO BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES: This is a listing of various behavioral health resources including local PRIVATE behavior health hospitals, substance use treatment centers, community mental health centers, etc. that provide services for children and youth.
WILLIAMS CO SERVICES FOR CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS: The Williamson County Sheriff's Office is dedicated to serving the citizens of Williamson County. They can offer a number of services, resources and information designed to assist you.

PERSONAL/SOCIAL ISSUES
DOUGY.ORG: The Dougy Center provides support in a safe place for children, teens, young adults and their families grieving a death. The center also provides support and training locally, nationally to individuals and organizations seeking to assist children in grief.
KIDSHEALTH.ORG: is a safe, private place to get doctor approved information for parents, kids and teens on health, emotions, and life. Kidshealth.org content is available in Spanish and audio.
STOPBULLYING.GOV: Learn more about what bullying is, how to prevent it, and how to respond if you or someone you know is experiencing bullying. Cyberbullying is also addressed.
EDUCATION/CAREER TOPICS
JOBS: A Career Coloring Book This resource from the Texas Workforce Commission provides a fun way to learn about careers.
BLS.GOV FOR KIDS: This resource from the Bureau of Labor Statistics offers information and interactive activities for kids about careers.
MATH IS FUN.COM: This website offers all sorts of math assistance for PK through high school including videos, games and puzzles, and printables.
MILITARY CONNECTED RESOURSES
MILITARY FAMILY RESOURCES: The Texas Education Agency (TEA) provides information and resources for military families and schools that serve them.
MILITARYONESOURCE.MIL: This active duty military resource website offers 24/7 support for service members, spouses, their families and survivors on taxes, moving, benefits, etc.
Educator's Guide to the Military Child During Deployment: This document is sponsored by the Educational Opportunities Directorate of the Department of Defence and is a result of collaboration between representatives of each branch of the United States military.
COMMUNITY HELPERS
JARRELL ISD HEALTH CLINIC: The JFHC offers scheduled and walk-in appointments to Jarrell ISD students, their family members, staff members, and community residents -- regardless of their insurance status -- to address a variety of physical and mental health issues. JARRELL COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY: The Jarrell Community Food Pantry, provided by the First United Methodist Church, serves everyone from low income families, single parents, senior citizens, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, working poor, and anyone else that comes to the pantry.

MILITARY FAMILY RESOURCES: Texas Education Agency (TEA) provides information and resources for military families and schools that serve them.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR WILLIAMSON & BURNET COUNTIES: Established in 1965 as the area’s official Community Action Agency, OWBC has administered a wide range of social service and economic opportunity programs. Head Start, Meals on Wheels, and Community Services programs are currently offered.
TEXAS FAMILY & PROTECTIVE SERVICES: Anyone who has a reasonable cause to believe a child, or person 65 years or older, or an adult with disabilities is being abused, neglected, or exploited can report it to DFPS at the link above or by phone at 1-800-252-5400.
TEXAS HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES: The focus of DSHS is to promote and protect the health of people and the communities where they live. The agency works to create a better system that includes prevention, intervention, and effective partnerships.
2-1-1 TEXAS: This is a free statewide 24-hour information and referral service. By simply dialing 2-1-1, callers can receive information about community and social services, such as food pantries, emergency shelter, rent assistance, utility bill assistance, child care, and senior services to name a few.
