Good afternoon Cougars!   I am the Science Lab teacher at Double Creek Elementary.  I have over 20 years of experience as a teacher in the state of Texas and have taught in both the elementary and middle school settings.  My background in the classroom includes 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade Science.    It is a blessing and an honor to share my love of science with your children daily.  My goal is to have fun and provide an academic setting where your child will love to ask questions and inquire about scientific processes.  I want them excited about coming to school and attending the science lab.  Please ask them to share academic vocabulary words learned or to tell you about what the lab was about.  The more they talk about it, the better they will understand it and better relate it to personal experiences at home.  Together we will raise life long learners.
