Eriko Nojima photographing plaque about Junzo Nojima
On April 29, 2026, JSFC president Jackie Alexander, Secretary Nancy Beck, and Director Vernon Beck met Eriko Kojima, grand niece of Junzo Nojima, at Mill River Park in Stamford, CT. Also present were Atsuko Geiger and Wheatleigh Dunham. Mrs. Kojima was accompanied by her husband, son, and interpreter Mr. Imamura.
Mr. Dunham is son-in-law of the late Noboru Uezumi, who wrote the brochure below about Junzo Nojima. He brought to the park the kamishibai theater made by Mr. Uezumi, with the slides that told the story of Mr. Nojima. There is also a poster about Mr. Nojima in the Whittingham Discovery Center in Mill River Park. It was unfortunately not open during the Kojima's visit, but a picture of it is on this webpage.

Mrs. Kojima also brought with her several old family photos to show, including picture of Mr. Nojima's house in Japan.
Jackie Alexander also brought things to share, including a children's coloring book about Junzo Nojima.
