Waseda University’s Toyama Campus is located in the Shinjuku Ward of Tokyo and is conveniently accessible from several nearby train stations, including Waseda Station on the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line and Nishi-Waseda Station on the Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line. Waseda University has three campuses in the Waseda area, so please be sure to come to the Toyama Campus, not the Waseda Campus or the Nishi-Waseda Campus.
Facilities: TBLT in Asia 2026 will be held on the 3rd floor of Building 36 and the 2nd floor of Building 31, which are connected by a covered walkway. Starbucks is located in Waseda Arena (open Saturday only), and several drink vending machines are available nearby.
Station: The closest station to the conference venue is Waseda Station on the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line. From Exit 2 or 3b, the campus is approximately a 5-minute walk. Please head west from the station, as walking north will lead you to the Waseda Campus instead. This route is especially convenient for attendees traveling from central Tokyo areas such as Otemachi, Nihombashi, or Nakano. Nishi-Waseda Station on the Fukutoshin Line is another nearby option and is approximately a 10-minute walk from campus. Takadanobaba Station is also accessible and offers convenient transfers for those arriving via the JR Yamanote Line or Seibu Shinjuku Line.
Restaurants and shops: There are several restaurants, cafés, and convenience stores near campus along Waseda Dori. For more variety, traveling to nearby areas such as Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, or Marunouchi will offer an extensive range of dining, shopping, and entertainment options.
