Persist v1.0 PERSIST is a Python-based desktop application designed to screen per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) for potential toxicological effects using validated machine-learning–based QSTR models. The software classifies PFAS according to their predicted activity in three well-characterized PubChem bioassays: AID-1030, AID-504444, and AID-588855. Predicted activity in each bioassay serves as an indicator of pathway-specific toxicological potential.
