Jacksonville Survivors Foundation is a survivor-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving families and loved ones impacted by homicide in Jacksonville and the surrounding counties of Baker, Clay, Nassau, and St. Johns, Florida. We were founded from lived experience—because too many families are left to navigate devastating loss without clear guidance, consistent support, or a community that truly understands.
We exist to ensure no family is left behind. Through trauma-informed advocacy, peer support, and healing-centered programming, we help survivors learn to live again while honoring the lives of those taken. We recognize that surviving homicide loss is not only grief—it is a lifelong journey that affects the whole family, and no one should have to walk it alone.
Our work is rooted in a simple truth: Survivors FOR Survivors. We create safe spaces where families can be seen, heard, and supported—whether they need resources, connection, or help navigating next steps. We also strengthen community response by partnering with local organizations, service providers, and agencies committed to victim-centered care.
At Jacksonville Survivors Foundation, we stand for remembrance, healing, and empowerment—helping families reclaim their lives, take back their power, and move forward, together.
