Welcome to another exciting year of Jackson High School Wrestling.  This will be my 41st year as a wrestling coach at JHS, 12 as an assistant and 29 as head coach.  

Jackson High School, along with our community, have been very supportive of our wrestling program.  We have been very fortunate to have outstanding Optimist and USA coaches, along with dedicated volunteers.  This has contributed to the success of the Jackson Wrestling Teams.  

In the past 28 years our staff has compiled a 236-16-1 Dual Mat Record, was named the MWA District Coaches of the Year in 1996, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2013, 2014, 2022 and Conference Coaches of the Year in 1996, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.  

The Varsity Wrestling Team, during this period of time, has finished 4th in state in 1996 and 2001; 6th in state in 1997; 7th in state in 2005; 8th in state in 2004; 9th in state in 2000 and 2002, and 10th in state in 2009 and 2014.  Our wrestling teams have won 25 Conference Titles.  

At a lower level, our Junior Varsity program has been very successful compiling a 351-3 record over the past 40 years with 278 wins in a row from 1991-2022. 

I urge you to come out and watch some outstanding individual and team match ups as we take on our rivals, both local and throughout the state.
