D2L, the JA Learning Platform

We are excited to announce the launch of our new JA Learning Platform, powered by D2L (Desire2Learn). This innovative platform aims to elevate your teaching experience by providing convenient access to a range of new features that will enhance your students’ journey toward success.

Experience the seamless design of D2L, which presents a familiar structure reminiscent of our previous learning platform. The intuitive left navigation and content display on the right remain unchanged, and you can even expand the content for a full-screen view, providing a comfortable and immersive learning environment.

Exciting Enhancements Await

D2L brings a host of exciting enhancements to the table, tailored to streamline your students’ learning process:

A Comprehensive Learning Space

Enjoy a complete learning experience within D2L; there's no need to navigate away from the JA Learning Platform. Your teaching journey will be more integrated and streamlined than ever before.

Resources at Your Fingertips

We understand that getting started with a new platform can be exciting yet challenging. That's why we've prepared detailed quick start guides and instructional guides, tailored for educators, volunteers, and students. These resources will ensure a smooth transition and help you make the most of D2L's capabilities.

Google Sites for JA Learning Experiences

Technology is a tool that enhances delivery of JA Learning Experiences, making the learning more relevant while assisting educators and volunteers in digital delivery. Google Sites for JA Learning Experiences are intended as an attractive and engaging classroom or virtual delivery option for educators or volunteers. The sites contain links that can be shown to students in presentation mode, downloaded and printed, or accessed and moved to a Google classroom or other learning platform to be used for student assignments.

Google Sites for JA Learning Experiences are available through secure access via an email associated with a Google account. Once an email is associated with the site, the curriculum will be accessible via a URL from any computer, tablet, or smartphone with Internet access that is logged in to your associated email account.

Google Sites for JA Learning Experiences have been developed for use by an educator or volunteer. They are not student self-guided tools.

Google Sites can be used in an in-person setting, or as part of a remote synchronous learning experience.
