WELCOME
The PAC crew is responsible for managing and executing events including choir, band, conferences, non-Urbandale theatrical productions, and other external events. Events are silver cord/Choir Letter Points/Theatre Letter Points. Only two events per semester is required to stay active on the PAC crew.
Professionalism
Every event position is important. From inviting the audience in, to running lights to managing backstage for students and staff. PAC Crew Members are encouraged to take on different event rolls throughout the year.
Education
Initial training on all equipment is provided. Additional advancement is encouraged and observable through shadowing positions at events. Most events are relatively simple, with a handful of advanced opportunities available during the school year.
Team Work
These events are not possible without the PAC crew! Every event is a little different and each has its own opportunities. Help give back to the performing arts and make events for students and staff a success!
Students who show exceptional technical skills, professionalism, and work ethic will be asked to join the smaller paid PAC crew. External clients who rent out the PAC for their events offer opportunities for students to be paid for their work in the PAC during that time frame. This does not include school events.
