The XIX Mexican Symposium on Medical Physics and the VIII Clinical Medical Physics Symposium will take place on November 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2026, at the Convention Center of the Instituto Nacional de Rehabilitación (INR), located in Mexico City.
Due to unforeseen and extraordinary circumstances, the venue for this year's symposium has been changed. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause and greatly appreciate the support of the Instituto Nacional de Rehabilitación (INR) in providing the facilities necessary to ensure the successful development of this important scientific event.
The scientific program, including keynote lectures, oral presentations, workshops, and academic discussions, will proceed according to the original schedule. Please note the following room assignments:
Wednesday, November 4th, and Thursday, November 5th: Tenacazpati Conference Room (Sala de Conferencias Tenacazpati).
Friday, November 6th: Temazcal Room (Sala Temazcal).
Poster Presentations: All poster sessions will take place in the lobby of the Convention Center.
Please note that the schedule for both oral presentations and poster sessions remains unchanged.

For access to the institute, all participants, speakers, and attendees must present an official identification document, such as a Mexican National Electoral ID (INE) or a passport, at the main entrance security booth. The Organizing Committee will provide the institute with a list of registered speakers and attendees to facilitate access to the event.

The Instituto Nacional de Rehabilitación (INR) is located in the Tlalpan borough of southern Mexico City. The Convention Center, venue of the XIX Mexican Symposium on Medical Physics and the VIII Clinical Medical Physics Symposium, is located within the institute.

Participants traveling by car can reach the INR through the main roads serving southern Mexico City:
From Periférico Sur: Take Anillo Periférico toward the south and follow the exits toward Calzada México-Xochimilco and the INR.
From Calzada de Tlalpan: Head south toward the Huipulco area and continue along the Mexico-Xochimilco corridor until you reach the institute.
From other areas of Mexico City: Use a GPS navigation application such as Google Maps or Waze and enter Instituto Nacional de Rehabilitación Luis Guillermo Ibarra Ibarra as your destination.
Please allow extra travel time during peak traffic hours. Participants are also encouraged to verify parking availability and access conditions in advance.

Public transportation is a convenient option for reaching the institute.
Take Metro Line 2 to Tasqueña station.
Transfer to the Tren Ligero heading toward Xochimilco.
Get off at Xomali station, which is within walking distance of the INR.
Follow the signs or navigation directions to the institute's main entrance.
This is one of the most straightforward options for participants traveling from central Mexico City or connecting through the Metro network.
Several bus and minibus routes serve the area around the INR, including services traveling along Calzada México-Xochimilco and nearby sections of Periférico Sur.
Depending on your point of departure, look for routes serving the following destinations or corridors:
Metro Taxqueña – Hospital Zone
Metro Universidad – Santa Martha
Toreo – Metro Constitución de 1917
Izazaga – Xochimilco
Ask the driver to confirm that the service stops near the Instituto Nacional de Rehabilitación before boarding, as routes and stopping points may vary.
Official identification is required: Please bring an INE card, passport, or another accepted official ID to present at the institute's main entrance security booth.
Allow sufficient time: We recommend arriving early to complete the entrance procedure and locate the Convention Center.
Confirm your destination: The symposium will take place inside the INR Convention Center, not at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM).
