NexSTEM Scholars were back at Midwest Food Bank in Fall 2021, volunteering with the organization to help others.
In Spring, 2021, the NexSTEM Program volunteered with Ecology Action Center and ParkLands Foundation (Illinois) to plant native trees in the Bloomington-Normal region. Trees were $5.00 each and for every tree paid for through donations, Living Lands and Waters donated another native hardwood seedling to plant. Thanks to our many generous donors, we surpassed our goal of $500.00!
