As you prepare for college, you’ll encounter college entrance exams including the SAT and ACT. Student's usually take these exams during their junior year. PSAT
The PSAT is offered each October to juniors and sophomores as prep for the SAT. Sophomores that are interested in applying to the Governor's School for Science and Technology should plan to take the PSAT.

SOL
All students need 4 verified credits to graduate meaning they pass the class and the SOL that goes along with it. These include 1) History, 2) Math, 3) Science, and 4) English - reading & writing.
