Mission StATement

The mission of the Smithfield High School Counseling program, in partnership with other educators, parents/guardians and community stakeholders is to provide a comprehensive, developmental counseling program that addresses the academic, personal/social, and college/career development of all students.

Vision Statement

The vision of the Smithfield High School comprehensive school counseling program is to provide equal access to all students and that this program is an integral component of the overall educational experience. The SHS school counseling program will promote collaboration between school counselors, educators, parents/guardians, and other community stakeholders to ensure that each student can complete high school, college and career ready.
