Unit Writing Rubrics
These are the writing rubrics that will be used to grade the Unit Writing and the Unit Writing Assessment.
The Unit Writing is worked on for 5 weeks with teacher support. The Unit Writing Assessment is what the students can do without support.
We also have a Problem-Based Inquiry Writing Rubric that is used for Week 6 of the Unit, where we tie all of our reading and writing learning to answer a question based on the unit theme. If you would like to see this rubric, please email your teacher or hcooprider@iwcs.k12.va.us.

The only difference is we do not do the writing prompt.
These may come home for optional homework practice. They are not used as a grade.

We can chat over the phone, send emails, or schedule an in-person or Zoom meeting.
