8 minutes by car from Morioka IC on the Tohoku Expressway. However, vehicles are not permitted on the grounds of Iwate University. If you are arriving by car, please use the paid parking lots near the university.

If you are coming by bus from Morioka Station, get off at the "Iwate University Bus Stop" and enter through the main gate.
If you are walking from Morioka Station (Morioka Station → Iwate University: 2 km), it is convenient to use the old main gate.
