1. Presentation Data
- Bringing presentation data:
Presentation data (PDF files) have already been submitted in advance. However, as a precaution, please save a copy on a USB flash drive and bring it with you to the meeting venue.
2. Participants Bringing Their Own Computers
Only the following participants may use their own computers for presentations. In principle, presenters giving regular oral presentations must use the computer provided at the venue with their submitted presentation data.
Eligible participants
- Presenters using videos in regular oral presentations who have notified the conference secretariat in advance
- Speakers in educational lectures, symposia, and similar sessions
Even for the participants listed above, if the files and videos can be played without problems on the computer provided at the venue during the preliminary check, that computer will be used. A personal computer will be connected only if playback on the venue computer is difficult or if the participant has notified the secretariat in advance that they will use their own computer.*
1. Connection terminal
An HDMI connection will be used to connect the computer to the projector [5]. If your computer does not have an HDMI output port, please bring the appropriate connection cable or an HDMI adapter.
2. Items and settings
- Be sure to bring your AC adapter.
- Disable the sleep function and screen saver settings in advance.
- Bring a USB flash drive containing a backup copy of your presentation data.
3. Connection check
- Presenters using videos in regular oral presentations:
Please come to the venue at the designated time announced in advance and check the connection and operation of your computer.
- Speakers in educational lectures, symposia, and similar sessions:
Please bring your computer to the equipment desk at the designated time announced in advance and check its operation. After your presentation, promptly collect your computer from the equipment desk.
3. Use of Pointers
- Regular oral presentations:
Whether using a PDF file or a PowerPoint file containing videos, please use the pointer provided on the computer, such as the on-screen mouse pointer.
- Educational lectures and symposia:
A laser pointer will be provided at the venue. You may also use the pointer function in PowerPoint.
4. For Chairpersons
1. Upon arrival at the venue
There will be no special “Chairperson and Speaker Registration Desk” at this meeting. Before the start of your assigned session, please inform the venue staff member standing in front of the chairperson’s seat at the front of the room that you have arrived.
2. Taking your seat
There will be no “next chairperson’s seat” at this meeting. At the scheduled start time of your assigned session, please take your seat at the chairperson’s table and conduct the session.
3. Time management
Please help ensure that each presentation and the accompanying question-and-answer session are completed within the allotted time.
5. For Presenters
1. Upon arrival at the venue
There will be no special “Chairperson and Speaker Registration Desk” at this meeting. Before the start of your presentation session, please inform the venue staff member standing in front of the chairperson’s seat at the front of the room that you have arrived.
2. Taking your seat
A “next presenter’s seat” will be provided in the room. When the presentation immediately preceding yours begins, please take your seat there.
3. Operating the presentation
During your presentation, please operate the computer placed at the lectern yourself.
4. Time allocation for regular oral presentations
- Presentation: **10 minutes
- Questions and answers: 5 minutes
- Total: 15 minutes

- 10 minutes: Two bells
- 15 minutes: Three bells
