Thank you for your interest in the School of Arts, Sciences & Education on the Bloomington campus! I am excited to tell you a little bit more about our philosophy, our degree offerings, and myself.
Let me begin by emphasizing that a liberal education - one steeped in inquiry, exploration, analysis, and criticism - is also a preparation for the rest of your life. The subjects you will study and the skills you acquire in the process, will continue to shape your life long after you graduate from our institution. As the largest school on campus, the School of Arts, Sciences & Education offers various degrees in many different disciplines that prepare you for transfer, the workforce, and life in general. Our courses are taught by dedicated faculty who always put their students' success first. I am humbled to work with my colleagues and impressed by their unwavering commitment to education. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns, or issues. My door is always open and I am eager to assist you with any problems you may encounter. If I am unable to help you, I will do my best to refer you to our wraparound services that include tutoring, emergency funding, success coaching, and a food pantry. I promise you that the faculty and staff at Ivy Tech Bloomington will work diligently to remove any barriers that may get in your way.
If you want to know more about me, please access my biography, contact me via email or phone, or stop by my office for a chat (A119). I wish you good luck with your studies and all the best for your future.
Best wishes,
Annie
