PHONICS
Phonics is a reading and spelling tool for teaching the basic relationship between letters and the sounds they make. Linking sounds with letters of the alphabet is called phonics.
Term 1 Themes
All About Me is the ideal back-to-school theme! This theme's activities assist students in getting to know one another, gaining confidence, creating a classroom community, and developing positive connections with one another. It's also an excellent chance to teach kindness.
Learning about minibeasts at an early age provides EYFS children with an excellent chance to comprehend and respect the natural world. They will learn to be polite and kind to all living animals, and the best way to do so is to go outdoors and view minibeasts for themselves!
The Solar System: Your students will get to know the eight planets of our solar system and the names of each, plus their order from the sun and their characteristics. The Sun: Students should be learning that the sun is a star as well as learning how it creates light and heat and how it affects the Earth.
Christmas is a time when children may acquire vital traits such as kindness, forgiveness, and understanding. Kindness takes the form of offering something to another person, whether material or immaterial. Forgiveness in the same sense that Christmas is a pleasant season.

Superheroes are not just in comics! Our teachers, doctors, police officers and parents are real - life heroes who help us everyday. Let's say thank you to the people who make a difference in our lives!
