Spelling Strategy 3 - break down words by syllables. Breaking longer words into chunks can help you spell tricky sections in the middle of a word.
Spelling strategy 4 - try to recognise letter patterns. Most of you will have learned to read using phonics. There are common letter families such as igh or tch.
