What is DMP?
Design Modelmaking and Prototyping (DMP):
A group of coursework that provides instruction on how to get something out of your head and into a 3D physical model by using modern and traditional materials and techniques. It is not an arts and crafts department. DMP students have one foot in engineering, and one foot in creativity.
How do you show your talents after a class?
We offer a 16 unit certificate at the completion of the program. Many of our students often find that they can obtain employment after as little as 2 courses then will continue to return for additional opportunities for advancement. An interview can be very stressful, during the DMP program you will be assembling a Process Book that will provide a visual indication of the skills you have learned during your time with us. Additionally, you will have physical models that can provide a visual indicator of your skills and talents.
