These are the courses we have with the IVC.EDU links:
DMP 200 (1.5 units): Introduction to Model Making and Design:: During this lecture course, we discuss what are some job opportunities if you were to follow a career in modelmaking/engineering validation in addition to the role it plays in manufacturing.
DMP 210: Rapid Visualization (3 units):: This hands-on course provides instruction on how to translate your ideas into an image on paper. It is a basic sketching course for product, NO previous drawing skills are required.
DMP 20 (3 units): Basic Model Making:: Essential skills are taught that focus on basic materials and techniques. This is a hands-on course.
DMP 121 (3 units): Advanced Model Making I:: More advanced skills are taught that focus on materials and techniques. This is a hands-on course. This is taken after DMP20.
DMP 22 (3 units): Advanced Model Making II:: Rapid prototyping and reverse engineering are the subjects taught in this course. This is a hands-on course. The student needs to have the knowledge of how to build parts and assemblies in a 3D CAD software on the level of Fusion360 or SolidWorks. This is a hands-on course.
DMP 130 (3 units): 3D Computer Design:: This is a basic SolidWorks course that provides insight into creating parts, assemblies, and drawings. This is a hands-on course.
DMP 40 (3 units): 3D Rapid Model Making & Prototype Development I:: This course is a basic capstone course where gains an understanding how to create and present a product they design. This is a hands-on course.
DMP 41 (3 units): 3D Rapid Model Making & Prototype Development II:: This course is a basic capstone course where the student designs a product takes it to completion with prototypes. This is a hands-on course.
DMP 160 (2 units): Modeling & Prototyping Methods & Materials:: With the use of field trips and videos presentations, manufacturing methods and materials are discussed. This is a hands-on course.
