Visual Imagery is a course that guides students through an in-depth exploration of photography as an art form.  This class explores the fundamentals of basic photographic processes and creative expression of ideas. Students will become proficient in utilizing film, darkroom processes, and digital photography using Adobe Photoshop to refine and produce their work. This is a year-long course.

Recommended Placement: 2 semesters of Visual Imagery

Advanced Visual Imagery students build on techniques learned in Visual Imagery (beginning photo). Students will explore multiple photographic techniques for personal creative expression of their concepts and ideas. Students will create multiple original works and assemble a portfolio, website, and/or publish a book. After 2 Semesters of Advanced Imagery, students are encouraged to enroll in AP 2D Design for photography
